Position Open for GC on MN Rare Disease Advisory Council

Happy Friday, all!

The Minnesota Rare Disease Advisory Council (a state agency) has asked us to share their open genetic counselor position. Please see the attached position description and details on how to apply.

For transparency + equity purposes, this is an unpaid volunteer position. Further details from Julie Olson, operations manager: "Members may collect travel reimbursement (mileage, meals, hotel). Please note that we are trying to get legislation for a per diem for our meetings and that appears to be another year out."

MNGCA encourages members who have the capacity for advocacy work to consider applying, as we know that genetic counselors are some of the most important advocates for the rare disease community.
